About the Book

Book #1 of the Peterson Papers
This is the 1st of several books featuring the Dog, Wood & Meadows Security Team.

Mr Pickles is a yearling; part of the Oregon Teen Wild Mustang Challenge. His assignment is to assist Colette who has chosen him as her own challenge. She is determined to win first prize at the awards ceremony for the Wild Mustang Challenge. The yearling finds life on the farm a bit lonely at first. Its not long before finds out about the Dog, Wood & Meadows Security team; they watch over the farm. Then he discovers that he is to be auctioned off at the end of the summer. Colette already has two horses besides Mr Pickles - that's her limit, two.

Meanwhile, he really wants Colette to be his friend but Dotty the piglet wants Mr Pickles to be her own special friend.

There's a bit of a tangle. Can a horse and a pig be good friends?

Will Mr Pickles be sold?

Do Mr Pickles and Colette come in 1st place at the Teen Mustang Challenge?
