When her doctor suggested that she take daily walks in order to lower her cholesterol levels, Janie followed his orders. She never believed she would find such a good friend as a result.

Janie Westwood has one daughter, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She grew up in Lathrop, California and has worked at Lathrop School for 35 years. Currently residing with her husband, Bob, in Stockton, California, she loves to read, shop, and take walks.
