About the Book
This is a book for my wife for our first anniversary. I started by making a list of things I was grateful for centered around her. I wanted to put those things in a book and had an idea to create a story about a tree who grows bigger and bigger with words of gratitude and love. Each page where the tree speaks his words of gratitude, I inserted the words of gratitude I had for my wife.

My name is Curtis Madrid. I have dreams of changing the world. My brain gets too caught up in the change having to be something monumental. Through writing the short story about the tree, I realized that our small actions can affect many lives that we may never know about and over time, these small actions will create a big change.
