Skyla Young grew up in New Zealand with books influencing her writing in many ways. Her favourite books is The Shadow Falls series because its has an element of mystery and fantasy which Skyla loves. Skyla has always believed in magic and that sometimes shows in pieces of her writing. She is a big fan of music and often writes about her experiences and takes on it. Skyla loves the finer things in life. Her idol is Marilyn Monroe, she loves everything about Marilyn whether it be her clothes or what she believed in. Skyla is a bubbly person who believes that everything has a silver lining.
