If my great grandchildren are anything like me they will be interested in what life was like for myself and their Great Grandmother and to see photographs that may otherwise not survive the distance in time.

Now in the autumn of our lives in our mid 70's, finding ourselves with our only son estranged and only one of three Grandsons in our life, I wanted to put something in hard copy that will hopefully survive the generations should my Great Grandchildren be interested in where they came from and what life was like for us.
Having been born in the early 1950's my wife and I had to work hard to better our standard of living when things were so much different. We found each other in the early 1970's and we often say if it all ended tomorrow we have had a wonderful life. Things don't always end how you would like them to but all in all we have had a great life together still after 53 years of marriage, tough at times but we made it through.
