About Author
My mom grew up in South Carolina and was the daughter to my grandparents, The O'Briens. My grandparents had 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. They lived on a farm and grew cotton when my mom was growing up. She would always tell us stories about her days on the farm. She would tell us about all the girls sleeping in one bed and how she had to do homework late at night by the light of a lantern and how there was no indoor plumbing. I always loved to listen to the stories of life back then.
