As Carol mentioned, I had the honor to graduate with Kristen. We were the first two graduates from Covenant. In fact when I came to Covenant, I was behind a year but Kristen was going to go through highschool alone and I decided to go back one year to be with her. This was one of the best decisions I ever made. Kristen and I were quite different but she was so accepting of me just for who I was. I sat side by side with her for every single class. As many have stated, I never heard her complain or speak anything negative about anything or anyone I saw her bring the most basic lunches, day after day. Kristen was quiet and rather than complain she would drop subtle little funny comments and have me laughing so hard along with the rest of the classmates that still bring a smile to my face.
All I can really say is that it was an honor Kristen to know you, it was an honor to graduate second in class to the most kind, selfless giving person I have ever met.
