About Author
Marjorie Knight Watson is a native of Dallas, Texas, and a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. She and her husband, Roy Watson, met and married in San Francisco, and California became the home state of their two children, Leslie and Tom. The family moved to Minnesota in 1969. Marjorie has enjoyed dual careers in home furnishings and nursing home activities, with other interests being creative writing, calligraphy, poetry, and photography. She especially loves being with her family, which now includes 4 grandchildren and 3 (so far...) great grandchildren. With the exception of a few, all photos taken by "Margie."
