For non-professional, yet heartfelt writers, certain occasions or experiences can only be celebrated or expressed with a piece of prose. These gifts of words generously given to family and friends, although appreciated, may possibly be preserved only in their memories. This book will capture a portion of those works and hopefully provide recall to some who received them and an inspiration to others who have not.

Cathy Cain, retired since 2005, has been putting her thoughts and poems to paper for friends, family and her own satisfaction since she was a young woman. Now, as she is reaching her senior years, she is collecting her favorites as a keepsake for her grandchildren, and to maybe allow her own children a peek into that side of her that may have been lost to everyday parenting.
