A crazy weekend in the woods turns into an utter nightmare when a group of five teens accidentally find and activate a highly advanced and technology-infused mutant. They soon discover that the mutants can adapt, multiply, and have divided themselves among two different factions, both hostile to each other. As the five teens find themselves in the middle of an all-out war, they struggle to survive and also help the faction they have chosen to win the war.
