About the Book

A picture book showing the beauty of nature that I saw when living in a tent, off the grid, in the forest, hiding from the law for 2 years. My life is different today, because of that experience. I was in a fast paced big city, my existence was in a quarter mile circle around my body. Nothing else really mattered. Busy busy busy people like ants always coming and going, stuff to do, places to go, things to buy.
When I took a Greyhound to another state suddenly with no planning, I was scared, lost, alone, now in a tent deep in the forest. I was angry and stressed out with no electricity or phone signal. How in the hell am I going to do this?!
It was a 360 from where I was. Total shock... for about two months. I realized I wasn’t unfortunate, I was blessed! To be able to be out in nature, quiet, peaceful, simple, turned out to be the best thing I had happen to me. The majority of people will not get to see some of the awesomeness of getting off the grid, away from the pavement and people.
I felt alive finally. I want to share some things I saw with anyone who would like to see them. I hope you like it and maybe even think about doing the same, even if just for a weekend. Everyone should get to ground themselves in this way and feel silence, it fills your mind and body with so much goodness.
