Born Richard Scott Robertson to Suzanne and George D. Robertson, December 5th, 1952, in Phoenix, Arizona. Graduated Camelback High School in 1970. Received Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University, 1980. Post Graduate Alumnus of The National Shakespeare Company Conservatory, NYC in 1982. Established Silver Thread Studios and Gallery in 2007 at his ranch studio on the upper Rio Grande River in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. There he also was a professional river guide and fly fishing guide. Richard established Silver Thread Studios Sedona, AZ in 2013 at the picturesque Red Rock Crossing, where he now lives and concentrates mostly on his painting and walking the canyons.
