Deer enter a family garden and eat all the foliage: agapanthus, hydrangeas, roses. The children are upset and tell their mother but she explains the garden is in the deer's home, the forest and the valleys. She asks the children how they might solve the problem. They come up with a unique plan.
A tale of reciprocity and kindness for sharing our environment.
Inspired by Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Roy feeding the deer, almost to the point of inviting them into their home.
