About the Book

I wrote this memoir in a single sitting in May of 2022, roughly 11 months of living in Charlotte. I posted the text to medium.com and shared among my friends. Both Anderson and Charlotte friends were extremely encouraging and their encouragement gave me peace about the tension I had continually felt during that period.

I am creating a hardcopy version now in 2024. Charlotte still has moments of difficulty, but I am fully aware of God’s faithfulness and the sanctification God gave me that frst year, and currently giving me in the second & third years in Charlotte.

May this book serve as a stone, a sign, to God’s unrelenting faithfulness towards his people.
