The author was born and raised in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. He was first bitten by the travel bug in 1967 when he boarded his first flight, to FL. Since then, has travelled to more than 30 countries on 5 continents. He attended college in MI but returned to NJ upon graduation. Today, he is the Chief Financial Officer of an information technology consulting company who resides in Mountain Lakes, NJ. He is married to his lovely wife Kim and has been blessed with two children, Christopher and Erica.
