About Author
"Aunt" Sally was born on July 30, 1910 in New Haven, CT. Sally attended the Skinner and Orange Street Schools, and graduated from Hillhouse High School and from the Connecticut State Normal School. Sally married Mitchel Lipwich and they had two children, George and Leah (both Deceased). As a grandmother, Sally returned to school where she earned her BS in education, and taught full time. She was a member of many charitable organizations, and lived a full and long life. Sally died at the age of 103 on September 24, 2013.
