Only going to the tenth grade in high school and then at sixteen leaving to marry (in 1958) a seventeen-year-old guy who quit school in the eleventh grade to join the Army, I finally earned a Masters's Degree in Library and Information Science in 2000, in Hawaii. Here, finally, is the second book, set in New York City in 1965. (My first one, "Summer of '56" 'Memoir of a Teenager', set in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Dallas, Texas, and New Jersey.) Both are true stories; memoirs.

I have experienced a great deal and hopefully have learned a lot, at 81 years old. and am currently married for over 40 years, and live in the state of Washington. Scary times. The CoronaVirus is rampant now. March 13, 2020

My lifetime goal has been to write and see my published books line shelves in bookcases like volumes of the 'old-time' encyclopedias. Many more to come, hopefully.

Married and divorced a few times, had four children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandson, so far.
