Patent Pending is an invitational group exhibition including artists from all across the United States and a few International guests as well. All artists were given an original book of U.S. Patents from some-when between 1961 and 1965. All books documented the inventions, or proposed inventions of creative minds during this innovative time in our history. The artists were then asked to make original pieces of art inspired by their particular volume in any media. Over 100 artists were invited, most have participated.
