Dale D. Penkala is an amateur astronomer astrophotographer. He lives in Auburn, Michigan under bortle 4 skies and takes images through various instruments in his private observatory. He has been interested in astronomy ever since his father lifted him up to look through his homemade telescope back in the early 70s.
