While growing up in Indiana, both of my parents were huge nature enthusiasts, for they enjoyed many outdoor sports and activities. Nature was everywhere in my life, being exposed to various landforms, gardening, fishing, waterways and forests. I learned to appreciate nature too, and today, I still enjoy hiking and exploring, gardening and growing many of my plants by the seeds that I've collected. Documenting my plant's progress demonstrates the stage that a seed goes through before it matures and produces fruit.

Nature brings so much to humanity, and it's important to appreciate nature and the environment. If someone has never been hiking or out to explore nature, my book outlines a fragment of what's out there in the forests, trees, streams and trails. Hikeexplorer is about getting out within nature to learn about the trees, the wildlife that lives up in them, or what kind of plants grow near a pond, river or stream.

To explore the wildlife is a learning experience,..
