About the Book

When you were born of course we have no idea what kind of world we are brought in, the family that we call our own, or know the kind of person we will become as we get older. Its almost like we are born a blank white canvas that our family and parents paint as we grow. The canvas can get bigger and brighter or even dark just like when your painting a picture. Then once we become adults there we are looking into a mirror seeing how we look and perceive ourselves, or who we think or know we are.

As we grow and become adults we see and experience many different things, places, and people. Everything we come in contact with affects us in some way whether it is positive or negative. Whether it is things said to us, how people treat us, or what people do to us. I never realized how the little things can add up and really become something big. In this book I am going to explain a lot of life events that have taken a huge tole in my life from childhood to adulthood that still affect me..

My name is Ranaie Sarver, I am 28 years old and I have 5 children. I have worked in the health care industry most of my adult life and work full time. I have lived a long life of abuse from the time I was a child all the way into my adult life. I have made a lot pf mistakes and accomplishments in my life. I have also met a lot of people who have also been abused as children or even just in their adult life. I don't think that people realize the type of affect abuse can really have on someone and the long lasting affects. I want to share my story and show other people no matter their gender, race, religion, or sexuality that anyone can rise above and over come these traumatizing moments in their lives and know they are not alone. I want people to not be ashamed or feel guilty of their past and to realize going threw hard moments like this in our lives that we can be great, amazing, compassionate, successful people. That your self worth is always important and find a way to get out.
