I was born and raised in the heart of Raleigh, North Carolina to a single mother of two. Growing up I started gaining weight overtime; I was known as the "chubby kid" in my neighborhood. I would distance myself from other kids in the neighborhood and stay in the house. During my seventh grade year of middle school, I began to get bullied by my other peers. As a result, I stopped attending school and I was placed in a group home. My first year in high school, I started finding boys attractive; at the time I was trying to keep my sexuality on the low but my peers found out and started spreading rumors around the school. I got into my first "real love" relationship with my ex-boyfriend; we broke up and I tried to commit suicide. I was placed in a mental hospital, when I was released and went back home my mother asked me what was going on and that's when I told her that I liked the same sex. Our relationship began to change due to this, in 2015 my mother passed away due to Cancer.
