Ruff (that’s dog talk for hello), my name is King. I was born on October 20, 2009, along with my seven brothers and sisters. When we were old enough, we were all adopted by families from different homes. Out of all my littermates, I still get to spend time with my sister, Boss, and brother, Roxy. My new mom and dad adopted me when I was seven-weeks-old. I was so small; I actually fit in the palm of their hands. She graduated from the Institute of Children's Literature in 2010. When King passed away, Donavan Miller, Monique Moses, Thalia West, and Angel Aviles and encouraged her to share King's escapades with dog lovers around the world, Valerie jumped at the opportunity. She is very excited about publishing her first children's book!
