Alyssa Schulte is a writer of short stories, essays, and most recently, children's books.

This book was created as a "thank you" to Cheri Tant, who took my tattered and worn-out childhood teddy bear (Colorful Bear) and fixed him to an almost-new state, complete with a heart made from the hoodie material of my favorite cousin, who passed away New Year's Eve, 2009. All she asked in return were a few children's books for her grand kids, Lydia and Wyatt, to treasure and enjoy. What could be more fun than a story with all three as main characters?! This was a labor of love for my family and friends to enjoy - I hope you like it!
