About Author
Rising Young Author Angelica Nicolacoudis has been interested in writing from a very young age.
“I love writing because it allows you to express yourself in so many different ways, whether it be through someone else’s point of view in a narrative, or your point of view in an essay,” she says.
The purpose of this piece was actually for a school assignment. Students were to write about someone they had lost or who had left. This poem was one of her first and she says, “It helped open my eyes and show me how much meaning and emotion could be shown through words.”
Angelica has many interests. In her free time, she enjoys playing the guitar, trumpet, soccer, basketball and volleyball. She also likes to read, listen to music, watch anime and draw.
