Lori Chesanek is a second grade teacher in Thompson, CT. She enjoyed writing stories while growing up. Her first story as an adult was a short memoir written for a college class. While teaching a writing workshop for her second graders, she turned a journal entry about an experience as a child into a story for her nephews. Her next story began as an idea for her nephew based on his favorite things, super heroes and Star Wars. This is her third story and is written for a niece.
