Religion is an emotive subject. Proponents of religion protect their faith with their lives, notwithstanding that there are 405 religions, each claiming to be. Taboo subjects are a poet's playground and religion is one of those subjects poets will devote time to, either because they subscribe to the tenets or they are critical of certain aspects of the teachings. This book is about the poet's own understanding or lack therefore of religion and I hope the reader will read with an open mind.

“I am a novice Zimbabwean poet learning the ropes. Though my profession is engineering I find myself drawn to literature, particularly poetry. This book contains my poems written over some time in my lonely moments as I watched the world turning and turning and people praying and praying. I hope you will enjoy it.”
