Elissa and her therapy dog Sadie volunteer with New York Therapy Animals, an affiliate organization of Intermountain Therapy Animals, and the NYC affiliate of the R.E.A.D. program. As part of their volunteer activities they go into schools and have young students read to them, visit with college students during stressful times, or older adults in assisted living situations. In their free time Elissa & Sadie love to hang out and explore their neighborhood by going on long walks. They both love peanut butter (though Sadie takes hers plain and Elissa prefers jelly & bread with hers).
