About Author
The author was born of a mixed German - Irish parentage during the Depression and raised on a ranch in south central Oregon. She grew up the hard way on an isolated property in sparsely populated Lake County, Oregon, with snakes & spiders for playmates and wild horses to break and tame for part of her chores. She went on to marry, raise a family, and graduate from college after leaving the ranch. She now lives a quiet life in Roseburg, Oregon since retiring after a long career in education, teaching in Douglas County.
