Sally loves all of her fish. However, the fish do not love each other. The Beta's and the Gold fish are rude to each other simply because they fear each other. Eventually, Sally notices and gets upset that the fish do not love each other as she loves them. The fish learn an important lesson about fear, forgiveness, and love for each other.
