Sammy is a turtle that has been adopted from a pet store and Joe has to learn how to take care of it. He becomes friends with Sammy and even takes him to school with him so all of his friends can see him. He loves to dress Sammy up and take him for walks, and even takes him to the local pond to play on the sand and in the water.

About Author
Rebecca Dawn Odum was born on September 30, 1985. She was raised in Colonial Heights Virginia.
Rebecca's love of reading and writing came from spending a lot of time in the library and reading up on different books.
Rebecca began her writing career by helping her son with a children's book that they both decided to create together and the name of that book is called Sammy and Me.
Today Rebecca continues to write books full time. When she is not writing she enjoys traveling, getting together with friends and listening to music.
