As Sammy the Sloth takes a hike in the middle of the rainforest, he meets some incredible animals, bugs, and plants who become the best of friends. There are some really crazy times that will make you laugh and wonder if the new friends will make it out of the rainforest after meeting up with one scary snake.

Elise Haines is currently an elementary education major at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She spent an incredible three weeks in the Rainforest in Costa Rica while studying Biodiversity and Ethnobotany. Her inspiration for this book came from hiking every day and the many wonders she saw while there.
