This book is about an eleven year old girl named Sara who loves to figure skate. She grew up skating ona little pond in her back yard. Then one day a figure skating club comes to town looking for kids who can skate. Sara signs up, but the other girls think they are much better then her. Sara goes to competions and loses the first one and wins the second one. the other girls learn that they are all good and they become friends!
