This book is about an eleven year old girl named Sara who loves to skate. She grew up skating on a little pond in her backyard. Then a figure skating club comes to town loooking for kids who can skate. Sara trys out and makes it into the club. The other girls think they are better then her. sara goes to competitions and comes in last place the first time. Then the second time she comes in first. the other girls learn that everyone is good and they all become friends!
