Shaqkib Pruitt was born in Detroit, MI on September 20, 1993. Raised by a loving and supporting mother and father. Shaqkib started dancing at the mere age of 7. As young boys are, Shaqkib was skeptical about joining dance and performing in front of his peers. But soon overcame his fear and insecurities because of the loving support given to him by his friends and family. Now Shaqkib attends Eastern Michigan University and is the lone male dancer on the EMU dance team.
