Ashley Burns lost her family to a drunk driver and the rest of her family has either passed or wants nothing to do with her. She stays in the small south town in Texas called Ackerly, with her foster family and her dead sisters pet cat. Things are usually really predictable in this town, where nothing new happens and everyone knows everyone. It's almost impossible to keep a secret. But just when Ashley thinks her home couldn't get anymore boring, Aaron Cast shows up with his big ol' army of supernatural weirdness. Looks like Ackerly can keep a secret and a new one just rolled in town.
