B.P. (Dick) Santeramo grew up on Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, when families still held on to precious war bonds and had Sunday dinners together. Before his retirement as Deputy Comptroller of New York City, he had dedicated more than two decades of public service. He and his wife, Eleanor, have three daughters (Joan, Lori and Jaime) and a grand-daughter. He currently resides in Tampa Bay area of Florida.
Santeramo is also the author of Adventure Americano (New England Vacation).
