Alex Stratton is a city slicker from New York City. She's the most popular girl at her school, has a cool squad, and has tons of boys following her around like a lovesick puppy.
On the last day of school, a bullying incident gets her in trouble, and her parents decide to send her to Averton, Wyoming with her uncle and aunt,and her cousin Brooke for the summer, hoping she will learn a few life lessons.
