13-year-old, Jay, recently moved from New York, New York leaving his friends, family, and life behind. Through his adventure he starts to realize that for most of his life he has been taking things differently and thinking of people the way they really are. Beyond the book the readers can put themselves in Jay's shoes and hear his thoughts, feel his feelings, and improve their own life and not see people differently than they really are.
