This book is written based on sketches that Svetlana Robinson made in 8th grade. She kept her sketcbook and was very proud of her drawings. Her sister, Rufina found the sketchbook and decided to write poems associated with each of the drawings in time for Svetlana's first baby so that she can read him the stories. Some of the peoms are based on real facts, while others are just fun!

Rufina Tokarev grew up in Greenville, SC with four sisters and her little brother Andrew. She then moved to Raleigh, NC at the age of 19. She really enjoys giving creative gifts to people that she loves.
