Riley and his best friends hang out every day at Sky Tower, an assortment of businesses in one large building. They go to the top floor and roof because they are empty; no one goes up there. Then Mr. Cahil, owner of Sky Tower, decides that the place that holds so many memories for the teenagers should be burnt to the ground. When the eight of them confront him, he admits it is because the town wants twenty thousand dollars to keep Sky Tower running. Secretly, the eight kids, four boys and four girls, band together to put a stop to this.
And they have a plan.
