The TMT Youth Community Foundation operates to empower "at risk youth". The Smart Girl Book Project promotes early literacy and writing. It encourages family involvement and better educational outcomes for children enrolled in the program. Smart Girl Books are written by children about a social outing or experience they had in the Smart Girls program.
Smart Girl books produce young authors and promote early literacy by highlighting site words in the book for easy recognition.
All proceeds from the sale of the Smart Girls Book support the work of the TMT Youth Community Foundation
