Puck and his friends are Onyxians, an alien species who are often referred to as the "scholars of the multiverse" due to their mass intelligence. Puck and co. land in Penzance, a village on their home planet, Onyx, where the War of the Shadows began and ended, and was started by the Shadow People, an ancient indigenous people who had mass jealousy for Penzance's people, and decide to enslave the village's people for a workforce, and a plan that Puck and co. need to put an end to, and quickly!
