Puck and his friends are Onyxians, an alien species, known for their wisdom. Our protagonists land in their ship, the Grendel, on their planet's moon Juno, due to reports of foreign spacecraft reported from Onyx, and soon discover why, due to a foe that has plans to use the Moonbase for their invasion fleet, but plan to "detach" the Moonbase from Juno's surface, and blow it to bits, disturbing weather on Onyx.
