'Sophie's Little Miracle' is the first of what I hope to be a series of sweet and inspiring children's books about every day happenings in the back yard of my home. As seasons change, so do the stories, but the circle of life continues.

I grew up in northern Michigan. I reside in northern Indiana, with my husband, our rescued shelter dog, a beautiful kitty (both of whom will also be included in books someday, but in the first book, the kitty makes an appearance) that the dog brought home one day, and 10 backyard birds.
I am very excited to create children's books, using the adventures of my own back yard. Animals and nature give me a lot of pleasure and giggles, and something happens often that makes me think, 'Gee, that would make a good story!'
If I just make books to give as gifts to my family and friends, then I am happy.
I look forward to creating more stories as my back yard inspires me.
