We may recover from natural disasters and carry on, but COVID-19 proved how fragile our "normal' really is; perhaps there is another message for us, as well.

About Author
Daniel Earl Knecht was the writer/presenter of a radio documentary series titled "The Backstage Connection," for which he was inducted into the British Columbia Country Music Hall of Fame in 2014. His fictional work includes "The Road From Taliesin" and other stories drawn from personal experience; his love of travel and seeing "how life ticks in other places" was inspired by his parents. Travel encourages understanding and writing encourages sharing, whether as fiction or documentary.
