Space Story - Solar academy

Matalis lives on the safest part of earth, free of the Menelagues, and with the girl of his dreams. But when the fearsome Menelagues, aliens from Jupiter, finally attack his hometown in San fansisco, he is sent off to an academy to train, and defend against the aliens. But the girl he longs for is mixed up in the academy, and he has to find her, while at the same time discovering his abilities, and weaknesses.
