After losing both of his parents at a young age, Elijah was sent to live with his grandma, and has been struggling ever since. After another turn of events, he is then sent to live with his aunt in Tokanoa, Illinois. Just turning fourteen, Eli is beginning his freshman year at McKendree High School with no friends and little hope for finding any. On his way into adulthood, Elijah must experience all of the ups and downs of being a teenager, along with dealing with his paranormal experiences, and his belief in God.
