Hardy vegetable dishes, casseroles, desserts and much more were always made from farm fresh ingredients. The Spiese’s went to their garden for the vegetables and to their chickens for the eggs – freshness wasn’t a buzz word around their home on five acres in the country. The air was truly fresh and so was the food. Enjoy.

Ricki South has been a friend of the Spiese Family since 1971. At 16, this was her first encounter with vegetarians and farm life. To this day, she can't forget the delicious Special K Loaf and the wonderful memories of just hanging out at the "old house".
