Stitches is about a metaphorical reference of a young girl's start of life in comparison to the common runner's stitch that one gets when running a race or over-exercising. Life is a race in itself. It is a journey that has struggles, pain, exhaustion, failures, etc. However, the goal is to keep going. Eventually, we all finish our race of life one way or another. It is all in the journey in which we get there. Hayden's life is not one that is easy or necessarily desirable. In this first book of her journey, she lays out the bare, raw, and unfiltered life she has lived thus far. Stick with her on this journey. Feel her pain, joy, innocence, silliness, and many more raw emotions throughout the book. Her story is not done, it has just begun.

Neci is a small town Arkansas native. She works full time, is a mom, and has always had a passion for writing. "Stitches" is the first book she has written with plans for two more books to add to this first one. She began her relationship with writing as an adolescent. It started off with song lyrics, then poetry, and now her first "novel." Books and music have been inspirations and catalysts to her creative vision.
